We have had the pleasure of working on the Cambridge Christmas Lights Switch on and tree install for 19 years. In previous years we have overseen the event as a full production event. This year of course saw a scaled back version due to COVID-19 and social distancing measures.
We were tasked to set up and operate pyro and additional effects, overseeing the installation of lights and the tree within the Market Square.
The pre filmed event was broadcast online on Sunday the 15th of November (the traditional switch on event day), as part of Cambridge bid's response to carrying on the traditional switch on ceremony during these un precented and unusual times.
